When I was a kid, my mother owned a residential care facility. She would make lots of forms with a straightedge and a pencil to keep track of all of the stuff that she needed to do on a regular basis, like dispensing medications. She found it was the only way to be thorough and still make sure that things were done and documented.
Now years later, my mother and sister, both still being in or having strong ties to the caregiver field, collaborate on creating forms that make it easy for other caregivers to do their jobs well.
